Serving the needs
of the people in
the horse racing
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Chaplain Bob Miller
The Ocala Farm Ministry is a division of the Race Track Chaplaincy Of America RTCA.
OUR MISSION is to provide for the spiritual, emotional, physical, social and educational needs of the horse industry's vast workforce.
WE ARE THE PEOPLE who take care of the people who take care of the horses.
IT IS THE GOAL of the Ocala Farm Ministry 501(c)(3) to provide those valuable employees with the support system that they need, AND to engage this Central Florida horse community in compassionate support of the chaplaincy.
Florida is home to some 600 Thoroughbred breeding farms and training centers with more than 75% located right here - in the Ocala/Marion County region. Thoroughbred breeders and owners have a multi-billion dollar investment in the state. The economic impact exceeds $1 Billion dollars a year. These breeding farms and training centers, which are the nurseries of the racing industry, are dependent on their dedicated workforce.
